New RAM Special Editions Revealed at Texas State Fair

The 2021 State Fair of Texas was an exciting place to be for all RAM enthusiasts as RAM unveiled three new impressive models. The RAM 1500 Longhorn SouthFork, RAM 1500 TRX Ignition Edition, and the RAM 1500 (RAM)RED Edition all made their debut at the State Fair. From September 24 through October 17, the RAM Truck display at the fair will include an entire lineup of RAM pickups. Fans of the RAM brand are the most excited about the reveal of the new editions that will feature a larger selection of exterior and interior content.

RAM 1500 Longhorn SouthFork

Replacing the Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary model is the new RAM 1500 Longhorn SouthFork. This 2022 model will include features like a deployable bed step, Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires, a multi-function tailgate, a metal pedal kit, and a spray-in bed liner. That’s not all, this new model also has a cargo divider, adjustable cargo tie-down hooks, and LED box lighting. We can’t forget the new interior elements like the exclusive Mountain Brown interior color. The interior also includes standard bucket seats and suede door bolsters. These bolsters have a leather insert and laser filigree details. You can expect to see the 2022 RAM 1500 Longhorn SouthFork model become available for purchase in the last quarter of 2021.

RAM 1500 TRX Ignition Edition

Also available for purchase in the fourth quarter of 2021 is the exciting RAM 1500 TRX Ignition Edition. With only 875 units available in the U.S., the TRX Ignition Edition is as unique as it gets. This limited-edition RAM truck is perfect for those searching for a performance truck that is easy to personalize. This new model is bold and powerful with a 6.2L supercharged HEMI® V-8 engine under its hood. This edition also includes features such as an 18-inch machine face black wheels, a spray-in bedliner, an LED cab-mounted brake light, cargo tie-downs, and a panoramic sunroof. As for the interior, you’ll love the TRX Ignition Edition’s orange center console badge, Copperhead Orange stitching, copper carbon fiber accents, TRX in Ignition Orange on the driver’s screen, and a futuristic Head-up Display.

RAM 1500 (RAM)RED Edition

Last but not least, we have the RAM 1500 (RAM)RED Edition that will also become available in the fourth quarter of 2021. One of the factors that make this new edition so special is that it’s a part of the commitment that RAM, along with the FIAT and Jeep brands, has made to help fight health emergencies with (RED). Overall, these three brands have committed $4 million at minimum to this Global Fund between 2021 and 2023. This new edition offers a choice between an EcoDiesel or a V-8 engine and is available on Limited Crew Cab configurations.
