  • Strange smells: There is usually one major cause if you begin to smell foul odors when the A/C is running, and that is mold. Mold can be caused by several different factors, all of which should be fixed as soon as possible.
  • Blowing hot air: If you notice hot air coming from the vents when it should be blowing cold, this could be a big red flag. Usually, this could mean you have a refrigerant leak or a blown compressor, both of which should be serviced.
  • Weak airflow: This could mean your blower motor is malfunctioning, mold or debris buildup in the cabin air filter that is restricting airflow, or some sort of restriction in the evaporator core.
